How are the split documents named?
FormX automatically generates file names based on the document content - for example, "Contract_AcmeCorp_2024.pdf" or "BankStatement_March2025.pdf". The free tool uses a default naming convention. How does AI document splitting work?
FormX combines OCR, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models to read and understand the content of every page in your PDF. It identifies logical document boundaries - where one document ends and another begins - based on content, layout, and structure, not just page numbers or blank pages.
Is my data safe when uploading PDFs?
Yes. FormX is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified. Documents are processed in real time and not stored in any permanent storage after splitting. FormX does not use or share your document data. Read our data privacy policy for further details.
